Light the fire and take off on your next epic outdoor excursion with our favorite uplifting varieties offered in seed form. Known as "sativa strains" to most, these picks offer unique cannabinoids and aromas that help get the gears moving and keep them spinning. These varieties are by no means the landrace genetics that made the term sativa famous, but the effects fit the bill. Every 'body' is subjective, so no guarantees - but these work great for getting us out the door and into nature.
Not only that - these F1 hybrids are a blast to grow with minimal efforts.
Double Durban THCV
The Ultimate "Sativa"
Type I 1:1 THCV to THC
THCV is often called weederol for its uplifting, energizing, and clear headed effects. For us it's a fantastic stimulant that helps not only get moving, but stay focused and engaged. Durban Poison on its own is already celebrated as an energizer, add some THCV and the combo is unstoppable. As a plus, THCV's potentials as an appetite suppressant may give you a few extra miles in on the trail before you have to pull over for lunch.
White CBG
Caffeine Without the Anxiety
Type IV CBG Dominant
For us at the farm, a few rips of CBG offer the perfect energy boost of a cup of strong coffee without the anxiety. Recent studies have shown CBG is even effective at reducing anxiety. If you need extra motivation to get out the door, or to calm your nerves before a scary descent on the mountain, give it a shot. Need more kick than a non-psychoactive? Mix in some Terp Poison type I flower, described below.
Terp Poison
The Link to the Landrace
Type I THC Dominant
With its Durban Poison roots, our Terp Poison mother might be one of the closest varieties we have in-house to a landrace. Granted we don't think there is such a thing anymore. This hybridized powerhouse producer offers racy and uplifting effects that make everything extreme even better. Solid THC levels are enhanced with a spattering of CBG to calm the nerves. The sweet and sour candy flavors alone give me a sugar high.
Pine Walker Seedless
Take A Walk In The Pines
Type IV 1:1 CBDV to CBD
CBDV might not be on the radar yet, but this unique cannabinoid provides creative energy for the few who have discovered it. Pine Walker boasts a strong piney aroma that clears the lungs and awakens the senses. A must try for anyone looking to get a little extra out of their adventures. Very low THC numbers, but you can always mix it with your favorite type I variety.
Lifter
The Name Says It All
Type IV CBD Dominant
Lifter was named after the mortgage lifter tomato for it's spectacular yields, but its effects are known to get folks lifted in a good way. Users love its inspiring and uplifting effects, and a perfect pairing for any outdoor activity. While it may lack in THC, it doesn't lack in boosting the imagination. A classic not to be overlooked - and an easy plant to crush it out of the park with.
Every 'Body' Is Different
We generally don't like to use the words Indica and Sativa simply because every variety on the market is a hybrid. Most importantly, the way every individual experiences cannabis is different. You can learn more about why the terms our obsolete in a previous blog.
