Which Strains Have The Highest?
We are frequently asked which strains hit the highest CBD, THC, THCV, CBDV, CBG, etc....
While having the highest content is important for extraction, we have found over the years - a 15% THC strain can hit just as hard as a 25% THC strain. The same goes for high CBD strains or high CBG strains. There is a lot more to a flower than just the three letters that everyone looks for on lab results.
Science is pointing out that there is a significant amount of interaction between the aroma compounds such as terpenes, alcohols, and esters - and the cannabinoids - that actually cause the effects that we feel. Cannabis is a very subjective substance, and using lab numbers to base how you think you will feel after consuming is silly in our book. Every compound effects each of us differently.

Though far from scientific fact, "the entourage effect" has shown in studies that the combined actions of terpenes and phytocannabinoids results in effects that exceed the sum of the sum of their sole contributions. If you smoke a bland flavorless flower with 25% THC it likely won't give you nearly the effect of one loaded with aromas.
That said, we realize the average consumer is still on the hunt for the high THC, or the high CBD test results. As much as we hate it, we know its still a numbers game.
And to be fair, cannabinoids are what we are all after or we'd all just buy essential oils. We do pride ourselves in producing genetics packed with the cannabinoids we say they are - as well as the aroma compounds that provide the extra kick.
As pioneers of the first high testing strains in a number or new an exciting cannabinoids, such as CBG, CBDV, and THCV - we do understand the value of the numbers game. If our CBG strains only hit 4% it would be nothing to brag about.
Generally we see our CBD strains reach a maximum of around 25% CBD, 20% in our CBG strains, 10% in our CBDV strains, 30% in our THC strains, and 10% in our THCV strains. But we are always skeptical of lab results as they vary so wildly its hard to believe what we see.
If you are after our highest testing strains for extraction or to wow the numbers hunters - here is a solid list to look over. Strains is a word I hate using but it seems to be the common nomenclature despite scientific inaccuracy.
