Triploid CBG, CBDV & CBGV Seeds – Feminized Cannabis Genetics
Explore the next generation of triploid CBG, CBDV, and CBGV seeds from GTR Seeds. Our collection of feminized triploid cannabis genetics features rare and innovative cannabinoid profiles developed through years of advanced breeding and research. Selected for exceptional flower quality, cannabinoid production, vigorous growth, and significantly reduced fertility, these varieties represent some of the most exciting advancements in minor cannabinoid breeding.
As pioneers in high-CBG cannabis breeding and commercial triploid seed development, GTR Seeds and Oregon CBD have helped bring previously uncommon cannabinoid genetics into commercial cultivation. Our triploid CBG, CBDV, and CBGV varieties combine specialized cannabinoid profiles with the reduced fertility characteristic of triploid cannabis, offering growers exciting new possibilities for flower and cannabinoid production.
What Are Triploid CBG, CBDV, and CBGV Seeds?
Triploid cannabis plants contain three sets of chromosomes (3n), compared with the two sets (2n) found in conventional diploid cannabis.
By crossing specially developed tetraploid (4n) and diploid (2n) parent plants, breeders can produce triploid offspring with significantly reduced reproductive fertility.
For growers cultivating specialized cannabinoid crops, this reduced fertility can be particularly valuable. Triploid plants generally produce substantially fewer viable seeds when exposed to unwanted pollen, helping protect flower quality and reduce the risk of unwanted seed formation.
We have applied this breeding technology to several unique cannabinoid types, including CBG, CBDV, and CBGV.
